Greatever Snorkel Family: Usage Guidelines and Adaptation

Before using this snorkel product for the first time, it is advisable to receive professional training and guidance. If professional training is unavailable, carefully read the operating manual, ensure a comfortable and well-fitted mask, and avoid overtightening to prevent facial pressure or looseness that could lead to water leakage. Begin practicing in shallow water, gradually increasing your snorkeling time as you become more accustomed. Beginners are recommended to take a 10-minute break after snorkeling, while experienced snorkelers should rest for 20 minutes to replenish energy and lung capacity.

Without professional training, unfamiliarity with the underwater environment can cause nervousness and rapid breathing, quickly depleting the mask's air supply. Insufficient air intake may lead to breathlessness or dizziness. If you experience difficulty breathing or dizziness, immediately remove the mask while wearing a life jacket and return to shore to breathe. It is always recommended to wear a life jacket and snorkel with at least one other person for safety.

Temperature differences between the water surface and bottom can cause mask fogging due to condensation. To address this, apply an anti-fog agent to the inside of the mask before use, or fully immerse the mask in water before putting it on to equalize the temperature. Over time, the fog usually dissipates as the mask temperature stabilizes underwater.

The float ball system in the snorkel is designed to provide breathing safety and comfort. When the snorkel is above water, the float ball sinks, allowing air to enter; when submerged, the float ball rises to close the snorkel opening and prevent water entry. However, this system is only suitable for surface snorkeling, as diving underwater will result in a lack of air and breathing difficulties, requiring a return to the surface.

The float ball also automatically adjusts to waves and head movements, rising to close the snorkel when below the water's surface. To reset the float ball after diving, remember to exhale (not inhale) while ascending to the surface.
